Global T20 Canada for Toronto Nationals.

Yuvraj Singh became the first Indian cricketer to be included in the team Toronto Nationals for the Global T20 league that is staged in Canada. 

At the time of his retirement, Yuvraj shared his desire of playing in the T20 leagues all around the world and had asked the BCCI to allow him to play international T20 leagues.

In 231 T20s during his career, Yuvi scored 4857 runs at an average of just over 25 and a strike rate of 128.76. While he has not yet scored a T20 hundred, he has 27 fifties to his name. With the ball, he has picked up 80 batters at an impressive economy rate of 24.86 and a strike rate of 19.2. 

Other than Yuvraj Singh, Toronto has also signed former New Zealand player Brendon McCullum and West Indies star Keiron Pollard. 

The second season of the GT20 league will begin from July 25 and run till August 11.
