Ahead of IPL 2020, SRH has reinstated the 33-year-old David Warner as their captain. David Warner the Australian opener who led the team in 2016's victorious season. But missed the season 18 due to sandpaper gate in Ashes.





Though Warner returned in IPL last year Kane Williamson was preferred as the first-choice captain of the side. Williamson lead SRH to the final IPL 2018 was no more the captain of SRH in IPL 2020.

David Warner's Stats in IPL for SRH





David Warner has been magnificent with the bat for SRH since joining the side in 2014 with instant impact for the franchise. He scored 528 runs in 14 matches at a strike rate of 140.80. So he was named as the captain in the year 2015.

He scored 562, 848, 642, and 692 runs since he played in the four-season finishing with Orange Cap in 2015, 2017 and 2019. Warner is the fourth in the list of all-time run-getters in IPL with 4706.
