England tour: All 6 Pakistan Players became Corona Negative

PCB’s Plan to organize the remaining matches of PSL

6 Pakistan Players became Corona Negative

Everything seems normal now after the controversy over the investigation of Coronavirus infection in Pakistan cricket. The six Pakistani cricketers who were found positive in the Kovid-19 test before leaving for England last week, have now come for a second test in three days, allowing them to join the team in England. Now the PCB will arrange for them to go to England.

The latest test conducted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) found opener, Fakhar Zaman, all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez, leg-spinner Shadab Khan, wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan, fast bowler Wahab Riaz and Muhammad Hasnain negative.

"The players were tested again on June 29 after the first negative test on June 26," the PCB said on Tuesday. With this, Hafeez's dispute with the PCB also ended. Hafeez's first test came positive, but the test that Hafeez had done in a private hospital after that came negative and this angered the PCB. PCB's displeasure was over why Hafeez went to a private hospital instead of going to isolation. In such a situation, Hafeez's tour of England depended on the second test of PCB, which has now come negative.

Spinner Kashif Bhatti, fast bowler Harris Rauf, Imran Khan, and batsman Haider Ali are still in isolation. Before leaving for England on Saturday, 10 of the players selected for the tour were found to be Corona virus-positive.

Pakistan's 20-member squad left for England on Sunday, where they have to play three Tests and three T20 matches in August and September. The team is in Worcestershire, where it will remain in seclusion until 13 July. Senior batsman Shoaib Malik has been allowed by the PCB to join the team later. He wanted to spend time with his family in the UAE.
