 India vs Australia 1st T20I 2019 of Australia Tour of India which was played on 24th Feb 2019. Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first. KL Rahul makes come back and Mayank Markande makes his debut and also Umesh back to the team.

 Rohit Sarmah,Virat Kohli(C ), KL Rahul, MSD,Dinesh Kartik , Jasprit Bumrah, Rishab Pant ,krunal Pandya, Umesh Yadav, Y Chahal , Mayank Markande.

India's Innings of 1st T20i match

Team India can't utilize the start given by KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. Australia comes back hard and proves the decision right to bowl first as the bowlers didn't give a chance to convert a good start into high score. Despite KL Rahul's 50 of just 36 balls team India fails to set a good total. Dhoni in the last few overs tried to rescue with his innings 29 of 37  helps India to reach the score of 126 for 7 wickets.

          Australian bowlers restricted team India for and don't allow any batsman to score, after the Rishab's run out Australia holds the match till the end. Nathan Coulter-Nile was the most successful bowler with 3 for 27 in four overs.

Australia's Innings of 1st T20 match

Australia(127/7) beat India(126/7) in the first t20i match in Vizag in a last-ball thriller match to take 1-0 lead in the series. Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first and the start of team was fast and furious as they scored 80/3 runs in the first ten overs and the next ten overs Australian bowlers didn't allow any batsman to settle down, despite KL Rahul's knock of 50 0f 36 balls along with Kohli and Dhoni India managed to score 126/7.

Nathan Coulter-Nile was the most successful bowler with 3 wickets for 26 runs in his four-over. When the chase began the Indian bowlers picked the two early wickets to push the Australians to back foot but the partnership between Darcy Short(37 of 37) and Glenn Maxwell (56 of 43) helped Aussies to rescue the team and the thriller of the match starts when Jasprit bowled the 19th over and conceded only two runs and picked 2 wickets to finish his four overs for 16 runs and 3 wickets.

The last over bowled by Umesh Yadav where the Aussies need 14 runs to win and J Richardson along with Pat Cummins take the Aussies to the end to win the last ball match by taking 2 in the last ball of the innings and thus takes a lead in the series.
