Let the ECB send a proposal to the BCCI in April itself to host the 13th edition of IPL, which was originally scheduled to start in India on 29 March. Although the tournament was postponed indefinitely due to corona virus epidemic, IPL 2020 got the window as soon as the International Cricket Council (ICC) decided to postpone the T20 World Cup 2020.

Brijesh Patel while talking to Khaleej Times has also confirmed that all the IPL teams will organize their pre-tournament training camp in UAE itself. The training camp will be held in a bio-safe environment in the UAE before IPL to be held from 19 September to 8 November. Patel has said, "Teams will need at least three to four weeks to prepare for the tournament". In such a situation, IPL teams will have to fly to UAE in August itself, where foreign players will also arrive.
