 The Australia tour of India 2019, India vs Australia 2nd ODI match was played on Tue 5th Mar. Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first in Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur.

 The bad form continues for the Indian openers as Rohit departed on a duck and Sikhar followed him scoring 21 runs of 29 balls. Rayudu once again disappointed with the bat as he scored only 18 runs of 32 balls. Kohli built a partnership along with Shankar where Shankar scored 46 runs of 41 balls with 5 fours and a six and departed.

Last match hero Kedar can't do much in 2nd ODI as he scored 11 runs of 12 balls. And Dhoni departed on a golden duck. Virat Kohli completed his 40th ton in the ODIs and lead India to reach the score of 250-10 in 48.2 overs.  He scored 116 runs of 120 balls with 10 fours and Jadeja contributed 21 runs of 40 balls.

Pet Cummins picked 4 wickets, Maxwell , Coulter-Nile and Lyon got 1 wicket each and Zampa picked 2 wickets.

Australia's Inning of  2nd ODI match 2019

Aron Finch and Khawaja gave a good start to the team with 83 runs partnership. Finch scored 37 off 53 with 5 fours and a six balls and Khawaja scored 38 runs off 37 balls with 6 fours. Indian spinners gave 3 back to back wickets at regular intervals. Shaun Marsh back to the squad but can't score more than 16 runs off 27 balls and Maxwell departed on 4 runs off 18 balls.

Handscomb with his 48 runs off 59 balls with 4 fours put Australia on the winning path. And Alex Carey scored 22 of 24 balls with 2 fours. Marcus Stoinis takes Ausies to winning line but couldn't cross it as he departs on the 1st ball of 50th over. After scoring 52 runs  of 65 balls with 4 fours and a six. And Australia was wrapped out on 242 runs in 49.3 overs.

Kuldeep Yadav picked 3 wickets whereas Bumrah and Shankar got 2 wickets each. Jadeja and Jadav got 1 wicket each.
