 Du Plessis gave a good start to the team even after losing the wicket of Watson on 17 runs of 9 balls with 2 fours and a six by Sunil Narine. Raina failed to survive till the end and got out on 14 runs of 13 runs by Narine once again . Than a partnership between du Plessis and Rayudu helped the team to get closer but Rayudu couldn't finish off and departed by Chawla after scoring 21 runs of 31 overs with 2 fours. And Faf du Plessis with 43 runs of 45 balls with 3 balls took the across the finish line and CSK won the match by 7 wickets.
