ICC World Test Championship has started from 1st August 2019 with the 1st Test of Ashes between Australia and England. India started its campaign on 23rd August with the Test match against West Indies in Antigua. India won the first series of World Test Championship by beating Windies quite comfortably to secure 120 points in the series. And with the win, Virat Kohli becomes the most successful Test captain of team India. And now Indian team will be looking ahead for the next Test series against South Africa starting from October 2, 2019.

In the 2nd Test, Ishant was just brilliant with the bat and scored 55 runs to get the first half-century of his career. Also picked 1 wicket in the first inning and 2 in the second.

Jasprit Bumrah turning out world's No. 1 bowler in all three formats of cricket and also secured no.7th position in the Test rankings last week by picking 1 wicket in the first inning and 5 wickets in the second. The form continues in the 2nd Test as well and Jasprit Bumrah picked 3 back to back wickets to joins the elite list of India's hat-trick hero's. He picked 6 wickets in the first inning and 1 in the second. And was also the highest wicket-taker of the series with 13 wickets in just 4 innings and helped India to finish off the matches early.
