Rajasthan Royals Traded Anjinkya Rahane for IPL 2020

Ajinkya Rahane the most capped player for Rajasthan will now move to Delhi Capitals following a successful trade. Ajinkya Rahane who was one of the key players for Rajasthan has been traded to Delhi Capitals for IPL 2020.

                          Ajinkya Rahane has captained Rajasthan Royals in 24 matches and played over 100 matches since 2011. He represented Rajasthan from 2011-15, 2018 and 2019. He is one of the highest run-getter for Rajasthan where he scored 2810 runs with an average 34.26 and a strike rate of 122.65 and scored 2 hundred and 17 half-centuries for his team.

Delhi Capitals traded the leg-spinner Mayank Markande who was earlier traded to Delhi Capitals by Mumbai Indians after the end of Season 12. DC traded Markarde along with the bowling allrounder Rahul Tewatia for Ajinkya Rahane.

      Rahul Tewatia began his career in 2014 with Rajasthan Royals when he was bought for INR 10 lakhs.  He also played for them in 2015 before moving to Kings XI Punjab in 2017 and settling with Delhi Capitals in 2018 and 2019.
