Rohit Sharma had a very amazing year which can be referred to as the most destructive player of the year 2019 in international cricket. The year started with the T20 series against Australia but Rohit started on a low note. So India finished the series with a tie as the 3rd match was washed out due to rain. After T20 the next was the 5 match ODI series against Australia but the Rohit got his form in the 4th ODI. But it was quite unfortunate to miss the first century of the year as he got out after scoring 95 runs off 92 balls.

IPL Season 12 2019 was one of the most competitive Seasons of IPL and Rohit Sharma was not at his best as a batsman. But he came out as one of the best captains of IPL and made Mumbai Indians win the title for the 4th time by beating CSK in the Final by 1 run in Hyderabad. And Rohit Sharma beat Chennai for the 3rd time in IPL history which is the most against a team like CSK. And also ensured 4 consecutive victories in odd season from 2013 to 2019.





Season 12 ended with the 4 consecutive victories in odd season from 2013 to 2019 for MI. But Rohit Shama still struggling with the form, especially in the T20 format.

After such a magnificent knock, he achieved his career-best ranking 10 in the ICC Test Rankings. By the end of the year, he successfully cemented his Place in Test Cricket and ranked no.15.

He scored 396 runs in 14 innings at a strike rate of 138.46 in 2019. His highest individual score of 71 runs off 34 balls with 6 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 208.8 came in the last match of the year. By the end of the year 2019, he was ranked no. 9 in ICC T20I Rankings.

Rohit Sharma scored 2442 runs from 47 international innings at an average of 53.08 and a strike rate of 91.28 in 2019.
