The full schedule of the India tour of Australia 2020-21 has been released. On Thursday, Cricket Australia announced the dates and the venue of all the matches of the series to be held in all three formats. On this tour, Team India will play a series of three T20s, four Tests and three ODIs.





Team India, captained by Virat Kohli, will visit Australia in October. Where he has to take part in the T20 World Cup to be held this year. Just before the World Cup, a series of T20 matches will be played between the two countries. The ICC T20 World Cup is to be played from 18 October to 15 November. Due to the spread of Corona virus infection, there is doubt on its organization but the ICC has not taken any decision yet.

After the T20 series, India and hosts Australia will participate in the T20 World Cup. The four-Test series will be played between the two countries after the tournament ends. The tour will conclude Kohli's team with a three-match ODI series.





T20 series schedule





  • First T20 11 October (Brisbane)
  • Second T20 14 October (Canberra)
  • 3rd T20 17 October (Adelaide)




The Test series will begin on 3 December and the last match will be on 3 to 7 January. Indian team is going to play a day night test match in Australia for the first time. Team India played their first pink ball test match against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

  • Second Test 11-15 December (Adelaide) Day Night
  • Third Test 26–30 December (Melbourne)
  • Fourth Test 3-7 January (Sydney)

The first match of the Indian team in the three ODI series will be played on January 12 and the tour will end with the last match on January 17.
