New rules for test cricket

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, all the activities of cricket are closed and now ICC's best institution is trying to start the game in any way. In view of the epidemic, the ICC has also released a new guideline. A few days ago, it was said by the ICC that if Test cricket is started, the local umpires will be used more and more. Now the ICC Cricket Committee head Anil Kumble has given a suggestion to introduce new rules for test cricket.

ICC Cricket Committee chief Anil Kumble has said that the local umpires do not have much experience and because of this they have suggested an additional review in Test cricket. It is expected that local umpires will probably be umpiring in Test matches if cricket is restored after recovering from the 19 pandemic.

The ICC Cricket Committee has suggested local umpires and additional reviews in Test cricket, in addition to suggesting a ban on the use of saliva on the ball. The former India captain said local umpires were suggested because travel restrictions would remain in force due to the Corona epidemic.

He said in the Star Sports show Cricket Connected that the restoration of cricket is necessary at this time. Due to travel restrictions many precautions have to be taken, including in Quarantine. There are not many elite umpires in the ICC panel, so we felt that local umpires would be better to resume cricket.

Anil Kumble said that in many countries local umpires do not have experience of umpiring in Test matches. This is the reason why the ICC started umpiring with its umpires 20 years ago so that there is no bias. He said that the additional review has been suggested so that no one team gets much benefit or loss due to the inexperience of umpires.
