On this occasion, the team's chief batsman Steve Smith said that he has taken care of physical and mental fitness while staying away from the bat for two months, due to which he is at the best level of fitness as compared to previous years. There is not much impact of the Covid-19 epidemic in Australia, so far there have been only about 7000 cases.

Smith said, "I am at the best level of fitness compared to years past. I have run a lot and sweated in a home gym. I have worked hard in the last two months." Cricket Australia announced the international season last week, which is scheduled to begin on August 9. Smith loves batting during practice as much as during matches. However, he has not touched his bat in the last two months.
