BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal informed on Friday that Chinese mobile company Vivo will be retained as a sponsor in this year's tournament in the Indian Premier League to be held this year. The agreement of BCCI and Vivo is till 2022. This company was signed by the Indian Cricket Board for 5 years for 440 crores.

Relations between India and China have deteriorated in the last few days. The whole country is angry with the full-fledged action by Chinese soldiers on the Indian border. There has been a campaign to boycott Chinese goods. The BCCI has decided not to participate in it at present. It has decided that Vivo will continue to be the sponsor of IPL. After this when the agreement for the sponsors will be done, this will be considered.

Talking to PTI, Dhumal said, "When you talk about emotional things, then you leave the logic behind. We have to help the Chinese product for the benefit of China and get the company from China to benefit India The difference between getting help has to be understood. "

"When you allow a Chinese product to sell in India, whatever money they make from Indian customers, they also give a part of it to BCCI for brand promotion and the board pays 42 percent tax to the Indian government on it It helps India and not China. "
