Recently there was a debate among Australian players that Kangaroo players do not sledge Indian captain Virat Kohli because they have to play with him in IPL. However, some players said that this was not the case, while Australian Test captain Tim Paine said that we wanted to keep Virat Kohli calm, but it has not happened. Now a former veteran of the Kangaroo team, Dean Jones has made a big claim.
Talking to SportsScreen about Australian players not sledding Virat Kohli, they said that Virat Kohli should not sledge, otherwise they see it as oxygen.

Jones has said, "I'll tell you the reason why they kept quiet on Virat Kohli because we used to calm down when Viv Richards came to bat. We were also silent on Javed Miandad, Martin Crowe."
He has said that one reason behind not sledding big players is that you don't bother the Bears. In the same way you don't bother Virat Kohli or MS Dhoni, because this is what they like - a confrontation.
He adds, "Don't give them any oxygen by sledding, but the reason I have this is not to disturb Virat because of the IPL contract. Is Virat going to stop anyone from playing? It's for coaches and managers."

Let me tell you that when the Indian team last visited Australia in the year 2018-19, then the Indian team won 2–1 in the Test series. Apart from Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli also batted brilliantly in that series. The Indian team won a Test series for the first time on Australian soil.
