Gautam Gambhir questioned Virat Kohli's captaincy and said he has not won anything yet

New Delhi The Indian team captained by Virat Kohli can be called the best team of the present time. There is no doubt that Virat Kohli has created a team that is full of successful players. However, he has not won ICC events as a captain. Not only this, in the IPL too, but he also has not been able to win the title to Royal Challengers Bangalore i.e. RCB as captain. In such a situation, former Indian batsman Gautam Gambhir has questioned his captaincy talent.

Captain Virat Kohli, who made the team number one in Test cricket, could not make the team travel to the final in the World Cup held in England last year. However, in the league phase, the Indian team did better than all the teams and is the table toppers, they made the semi-finals, but the team lost the semi-finals to New Zealand. During a conversation, Gautam Gambhir has said about Virat Kohli's captaincy career that he has a lot to achieve.

" Gautam Gambhir is the player to score 75 in the 2007 T20 World Cup final and 97 in the 2011 World Cup final.

Virat Kohli was part of the 2011 World Cup winning team and later played a decisive role in the 2013 Champions Trophy final. However, on both occasions, MS Dhoni was the captain of the Indian team. Under the captaincy of Kohli, India lost against Pakistan in the final of ICC Champions Trophy 2017, while the team had to face defeat in the semi-finals of the World Cup 2019 last year. Gambhir has said that he will have to win a big trophy to be called a successful captain.

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2021 and the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2023 will be held in India.
