Melbourne, PTI Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar Indian captain Virat Kohli and Kapil Dev are to be respected in Australia in a different way. A new residential complex is being constructed in Melbourne's Rockback suburb, where the streets will be named on legendary Indian cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, and Virat Kohli.

In Australia, a housing society is being built in the name of the sportspersons of India. Something different is being done here, the lanes that will be in this society will be named after former Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar, World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev and current Indian captain Virat Kohli.

This residential complex is being constructed by Accolade Estate which is attracting buyers in the name of Tendulkar Drive, Kohli Crescent, and Dev Terrace. The streets in the residential complex are also named after other international cricketers.

These include Waugh Street, Miandad Street, Ambrose Street, Sobers Drive, Kallis Way, Hadley Street and Akram Way. Rockback suburbs under Melton Council are among the favorite places in the Indian community and they like to buy homes there.

Resi Venture director Khurram Saeed, associated with the construction of this residential complex, said he had sent 60 names to the council, including a proposal to have a road named after legendary Don Bradman, but did not get the approval because the first in his name in Melbourne Is a street name from "We did not get the approval to name the road after Kumar Sangakkara, Rahul Dravid, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and others as the council rejected it for one reason or the other," he said.
