Tamim Iqbal played a superb inning of 126 runs of 128 balls with 21 fours and a six. And Shadman Islam scored 24 runs off 32 balls with 3 fours, Mominul 12 runs off 46, Mithun 8 runs of 24. Along with Mahmadullah 22 of 43 with 5 fours, Liton 29 runs of 58 balls with 4 fours. As a result Bangladesh scored of 234-10 in 59.2 overs.
Wagner picked 5 wickets along with Southee who got 3 wickets, Boult and de Grandhome picked 1 wicket each.

New Zealand 1st Inning of 1st Test 2019
New Zealand's openers gave a huge start to the team with a partnership of 254 runs. Jeet Rawal got out after scoring 132 runs off 220 balls with 19 fours and a six. Latham scored 161 runs off 248 balls with 17 fours and 3 sixes. Then onwards Williamson takes the charge along with Nicholas, Wagner and De Grandhome.

Whereas Nicholas scored 53 off 81, Wagner 47 of 35 balls. And de Grandhome scored quick 76 off 53 balls with 4 fours and 5 sixes. Williamson played a huge inning of 200 off 257 balls with 17 fours. And New Zealand declared the inning at the score of 715-6 (d) in 162 overs after his double ton.
Bangladesh 2nd Inning of 1st Test 2019
Bangladesh fought back well and Tamim along with Shedman Islam gave a good start. But Shedman couldn't take his innings ahead of 37 of 71 balls with 5 fours. And Tamim also got out after scoring 74 off 86 balls with 11 fours and a six. After 4 quick wickets Soumya Sarkar and Mahmudullah takes charge and built a partnership of 235 runs.

Soumya Sarkar scored 149 runs of 171 balls with 21 fours and 5 sixes and he departed. And Mahmudullah departed as 9th wicket after scoring 146 runs off 229 balls with 21 fours and 3 sixes. Bangladesh's 2nd inning ends on 429-10 in 106 overs and lost the match by 52 runs and an innings.
Trent Boult picked 5 wickets, Southee got 3 wickets and Wagner got 2 wickets. Kane Williamson got the man of the match award for his brilliant double century.
