38th Match of VIVO IPL Season 12, SRH vs KKR in Hyderabad

 The 38th Match of VIVO IPL Season 12, SRH vs KKR was played on Super Sunday 21st April 2019 in Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. SRH won the toss and elected to bowl first.

 Chris Lynn gave a good and aggressive start to the team along with Sunil Narine who scored 25 runs (3 fours, 2 sixes) of 8 balls and was departed by Khaleel Ahmed. Khaleel picked one more wicket of Subhman Gill on 3 runs of 4 balls. Despite of 2 quick wicket KKR scored 61-2 in the powerplay. After the powerplay KKR lost 2 more wickets of Nitish Rana who played a great innings in the last match and the wicket of Kartik who was not in great form these season. Than a partnership between Chris Lynn and Rinku Singh of 51 runs gave a momentum to the team but the back to back wickets of Rinku Singh who scored 30 runs (1 four, 2 sixes) of 25 balls and Chris Lynn who couldn't score more than 51 runs  (4 fours, 1 six) of 47 balls. Andre Russell couldn't do much against the SRH bowling attack and departed after scoring 15 runs (2 sixes) of 9 balls which helped the SRH to restrict KKR on 159-8 in 20 overs.
Khaleel Ahmed picked 3 important wickets but conceded 33 runs in 4 overs, Bhuvneswar kumar got 2 wickets, Sandeep Sharma and RashuR got 1 wicket each.

 The most unwanted opener for the opponent David Warner and Jonny Bairstow batted as expectedly and showed flawless batting effort also scored the highest runs in the powerplay which is 72 runs without losing any wicket these season. They gave the solid start by scoring another 100+ partnership in VIVO IPL Season 12. Both of them were in great form and confidence which made the chase too easy. They scored 131 runs for the first wicket where Warner got out after scoring 67 runs (3 fours, 5 sixes) of 38 balls by Yara Prithviraj. But Jonny Bairistow didn't stop and keep playing shots all along the ground and helped the team to finish off the match in 15 overs as SRH scored 161-1 in 15 overs with his magnificent 80* runs (7 fours, 4 sixes) of 43 balls along with Kane Williamson who scored 8* runs of 9 balls.
Khaleel Ahmed got the player of the match award for his brilliant bowling effort in 38th Match of VIVO IPL Season 12, SRH vs KKR in Hyderabad.
