                   The 49th Match of VIVO IPL Season 12, RCB vs RR was played on Tue 30th April 2019 in M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Rajasthan won the toss and elected to field first. Due to heavy rain, the match couldn't start at respective time and overs reduced to 5 overs per team.

RCB started the inning with Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers where they scored 23 runs in 1st over bowled by Varun Aaron. Virat Kohli showed the same intent in the next over bowled by a leg spinner Shreyas Gopal and scored 12 runs in 3 balls but in the next 3 balls Shreyas Gopal got a hat trick where he picked the wicket of Kohli on 25 runs (1 four, 3 six), de Villiers on 10 runs (2 fours) of 4 balls and Stoinis on a golden duck. After that RCB kept losing wickets as a result of which RCB set a total of 62-7 in 5 overs.

The bowlers bowled really well and besides Shreyas Gopal, Ushane Thomas picked 2 wickets, Jaydev Unadkat and Ryan Parag got 1 wicket each.

Sanju Samson and Livingstone came in to chase the target and they scored 40 runs 3 overs without losing any wicket and they needed 23 runs more in 2 overs for the victory but they lost the wicket of Sanju Samson who scored 28 runs of 13 balls in the 4th overs bowled by Chahal and just after the wicket rain once again interrupted the play and the match was called off and both teams shared 1 point each. All the hopes of playoffs for Rajasthan got over.
