Biography of Navdeep Saini:
Navdeep Saini is a 26 years old Right-arm fast bowler when he debuted in India's T20I side in the match against West Indies. He was born on 23 Nov 1992 in a place called Karnal in Haryana.
He came from an economically weak family. His father was a driver employed with the government of Haryana. His grandfather Karam Singh was an independence activist and also a part of Subhas Chandra Bose's Indian National Army.

Saini's Journey from Rs 200 to Indian Cricket

Till six years ago, Saini had never played leather ball cricket. Back then, he used to play tennis-ball cricket in local tournaments in Haryana, getting paid Rs 200 per appearance.
Once upon a time he didn't have money to join any academy and was not even able to purchase a pair of spikes on his own. The former Ranji player Sumit Narwal conducted Karnal Premier League where he impressed everyone with his bowling abilities. Sumit Narwal was the one who saw the potential in Navdeep Saini and took him to saw the Delhi Ranji setup where he met Gautam Gambhir.
Gambhir's Role in Saini's Journey
Saini is known for his raw pace crossing 150 kph on the speedometer and impressed many. So he was called up to the nets sessions of the Delhi Ranji team. Saini impressed everyone with his 15 mins of bowling in the nets against the Delhi Ranji team.
Eventually, Gautam Gambhir was the captain of the Delhi Ranji team who recognized the potential he had. So Gambhir asked Saini to be regular at the Delhi nets and also arranged a pair of boots for him
Soon, Gambhir arguied with the selectors to pick Saini in the Delhi team. Madanlal and Bisen Singh Bedi who were the selectors of Delhi opposed the selection of Saini saying he was an outsider and so he can't be selected for Delhi.
Gautam was aware of his potentials and so he argued until Delhi picked Saini and the thus Saini's Cricketing Career starts. In the 2013/14 season, Saini finally made his first-class debut. Since then, there has been no looking back.

Saini made his first class T20 debut on 2nd January 2016 in the 2015–16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In February 2017, Delhi Daredevils bought him for the Indian Premier League Season 10 for 10 lakhs. As he was the leading wicket-taker for Delhi in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy with 34 and 16 dismissals in eight matches respectively.
Royal Challengers Bangalore bought Saini in the auction for 3 crores in January 2018 and continued playing in IPL 2019 as well. He was also named in India C's squad for the 2018–19 Deodhar Trophy.
Navdeep Saini Debut in Team India
In June 2018, he was added to India's Test squad for one of the match against Afghanistan as a replacement of Mohammed Shami, but he did not play. In April 2019, he was also named as a standby bowler for the 2019 Cricket World Cup.

Navdeep Saini was named in India's ODIs and T20I squads for their series against the West Indies in july 2019. And finally, made his T20I debut on 3 August 2019.
He picked 3 wickets in four overs, including the wickets of Nicholas Pooran and Shimron Hetmyer in two consecutive deliveries. He also bowled last over, a wicket-maiden including the wicket of Kieron Pollard. So he was awarded the man of the match trophy in his very first T20I match against West Indies.
