new Delhi. Even though, given the emphasis of Coronavirus infection, it is not yet decided whether the upcoming T20 World Cup will be held or not. But the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made its position clear. On the expectation of the Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison to play India-Australia Test series among the spectators instead of the empty stadium, the BCCI said that the Government of India will decide. Actually, after the statement of Morrison, the possibility of organizing the T20 World Cup was also increased, but the BCCI says that Team India will not participate in the World Cup without the permission of the government.

Safety of players is most important
A BCCI official said, "We will be very happy to go to Australia for the T20 World Cup, but the government will have to decide the things related to health, etc. which will be decided." We will take a decision only after looking at the instructions of the government. The safety of our players and fans is most important for us. It is not that the team has to go from Mumbai to Pune in a sterilized bus. You have to come back to play and reach your home in a safe environment.
There may be danger due to presence of audience
The BCCI official said that the presence of a small number of fans in the stadium could also pose a threat, especially in view of cases without symptoms of corona virus and a small number of spectators could spread the infection.
