Sri Lanka has faced this epidemic better than other countries of the subcontinent. There have been less than 2000 positive cases of corona virus in Sri Lanka and 11 deaths, while more than 8 million people have been infected worldwide.
According to a report by ESPN Cricinfo, 'Sri Lanka Cricket CEO Ashley DeSilva has written to the other board about this, while foreign players are also being contacted.'
The report said that the tournament plans are still in the initial stage. The board has not made any official announcement. Sri Lankan cricket can organize a three-week league with five teams.
