Sreesanth who returned after 7 years ban claimed to play 2023 World Cup

The BCCI ombudsman, after getting relief from the Supreme Court, banned S Sreesanth for life for seven years, ending in September 2020. Meanwhile, Sreesanth is dreaming of a return to the Indian team.

S Sreesanth, who played the last match for India at the age of 28, is now 37 years old. Despite this, S Sreesanth has claimed that he can play the 2023 World Cup for the country, which is to be held in India. S Sreesanth was banned by the BCCI in August 2013. In 2015, he confessed to allegations of spot-fixing on himself. Recently S Sreesanth has been included in the Kerala Ranji team.

Speaking to the Deccan Herald, S Sreesanth has said, "I still believe that I can play in the 2023 World Cup. I strongly believe that one of the things they taught me was to favor me. I Was always unrealistic with his goals, as would be the case with most athletes. If you don't have unrealistic goals, you're mediocre. " Sreesanth has played 27 Tests, 53 ODIs and 10 T20 Internationals for the country.
