Indian cricket team's fast bowler Umesh Yadav has admitted that he scared of bowling against the world's two greatest Test batsmen was the most difficult in his career. Umesh bowled in front of former captain Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman during the Dilip Trophy. This match was played between Central Zone and South Zone in 2008-09.

Umesh Yadav said that for the first time in the domestic match, he bowled in front of Dravid and Laxman. "When I went to play the Dilip Trophy and came to know about the team, I will have to bowl against Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman." I was very scared. I never thought that I would be able to spell so well under such pressure.
In this match, Yadav dismissed Laxman for 13 runs in the first innings while Dravid was out for 7 runs and managed to take 5 wickets. From here, his confidence increased and for 16 months he got an opportunity to play for India. "I took 5 wickets while playing for South Zone and I took Laxman's big wickets with Dravid. It gave me a lot of confidence."
