Indian captain Virat Kohli has always praised Test cricket. He once again expressed his love for Test cricket and shared a picture of himself on Instagram, writing that he feels blessed playing Test cricket for India. Virat Kohli is currently in second place in the ICC Test rankings, while Steve Smith is in the first place in the rankings.

In Test cricket, Virat Kohli is considered to be the best batsman in the world and he has scored more than 7000 runs in 27 Test matches for India at an average of 53, with 27 centuries. In the long format of cricket, Virat Kohli is continuously scoring runs and this run machine does not seem to stop at the moment.





Putting a post on Instagram, Virat Kohli said that there is nothing closer than playing Test cricket. It is the purest form of cricket and requires physical and mental strength. Virat captioned in his post that it is a blessing for India to play Test cricket.





Virat Kohli is currently spending time at home with his wife Anushka Sharma. Kohli played his last Test series against New Zealand in February and after that, every game in the world was braced due to Corona virus.

Virat Kohli's performance in his last Test series played on the New Zealand tour was quite faded. He managed to score only 38 runs in two Tests. India lost 2–0 in this Test series. Now India has to travel to Australia later this year with Australia where the Test series will be played.
