The first match of the three-match Test series between England and West Indies at the Ages Bowl Stadium is going on. Today is the third day of the game being played on Friday. On the third day of the match, the West Indies were all out for 318 runs and on the basis of the first innings, the visiting team got an important lead of 114 runs. Earlier England was reduced to 204 runs in the first innings.

First innings of West Indies





For the West Indies, Craig Braithwaite and John Campbell started the innings and the Caribbean team's first wicket fell as Campbell. He was dismissed by James Anderson at LBW for 28 runs. Sai Base was caught out by Dom Bess at the hands of Ben Stokes. Hope scored 16 off 64 balls. Craig Braithwaite was dismissed LBW by Ben Stokes for 65 runs. The fourth wicket of the Caribbean team fell as Brooks. He was caught by James Anderson at the hands of Jos Buttler for 39 runs.





The fifth blow to the West Indies team was given by Dom Bess as Blackwood. Blackwood was caught by Anderson and he was dismissed by 12 runs. Roston Chase was dismissed by Anderson for LBW on 47 runs. Captain Jason Holder was caught by England captain Ben Stokes at 5 at the hands of Jofra Archer.

Alzari Joseph was bowled clean by Ben Stokes for 18, while Gabriel became the victim of Mark Wood for 4 runs. Kemar Roach remained unbeaten on one run. In the first innings for England, Ben Stokes scored four, Anderson three, Bess two while Mark Wood got a breakthrough. West Indies scored 318 runs in the first innings.
