Dravid said, 'There was such a phase in my international career. In 1998, I was dropped from the ODI team. I had to work hard to come back. I was out of the team for a year. There was uncertainty as to whether I was the right player for the ODI or not because I always wanted to be a Test player. My coaching was also like a test player. Beat the ball down. Do not hit the ball in the air. My coaching was like this, you get worried whether you have the skills for ODI or not.

Remind you here that despite being out of the ODI team for one year, Dravid scored 10,000 runs in ODI cricket.
