IPL teams record in UAE

New Delhi The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced that the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played in the UAE. The BCCI has officially confirmed this when the International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided to postpone the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia this year due to the coronavirus epidemic.

IPL 2020 was earlier scheduled to be held from March to May, but was postponed due to Corona. This time IPL is to be played in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. The IPL season is scheduled to begin on September 19, while the tournament finals will be played on November 8. BCCI will soon work with IPL Governing Council and franchisees on the full schedule of the tournament.

Well, this was the talk of the tournament, but did you know that IPL has been organized in UAE even before that. However, that time around 40% of IPL matches were played in the UAE, not the entire tournament. This is in the year 2014, when there were Lok Sabha elections in the country. Keeping in mind the safety, the BCCI was forced to organize this league on foreign soil, but do you know which team's record is in the UAE?

Actually, the current 8 teams of IPL have played 5-5 matches in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. The surprising thing is that Mumbai Indians, the most successful team of IPL, have not won a single match in the UAE, while Kings XI Punjab has won all their matches in the UAE. The team that has won the second-highest number of matches in the UAE is Chennai Super Kings, which has won four matches. At number three is Rajasthan's team, which has won 3 bouts.
