Virat seems to breaks these records of Sachin Tendulkar
The Indian team is currently away from the field for almost four months due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, but when the international cricket will resumed for Team India, some records of Sachin Tendulkar can be named after Indian captain Virat Kohli.
Tendulkar holds the world record for scoring the most 100 centuries in international cricket, leaving Kohli (70) centuries still far behind, but he is not far from the master blaster's 49 centuries in one-day international cricket and if cricket matches go smoothly, Virat can register this record in his name next year.

Kohli has scored 43 centuries in ODIs and he needs only six centuries to match Tendulkar, though he needs only one century to match Tendulkar's record of most ODI centuries on Indian soil. .
Tendulkar has scored 20 on home soil while Kohli has scored 19 hundreds. The first ODI record that Tendulkar can break on the return of the Games is that of completing 12,000 runs in the lowest innings.
Tendulkar achieved this feat in 300 innings while Ricky Ponting of Australia achieved this feat in 314 innings. Kohli has so far scored 11,837 runs in 239 innings of 248 matches and is only 133 runs behind the 12,000 mark.

It is worth noting that Kohli also holds the record for scoring 8,000, 9,000, 10,000 and 11,000 runs in the lowest innings in ODIs, breaking the record of Tendulkar in the 10,000 and 11,000 runs.
When the Indian team goes on an Australian tour later this year for a four-Test series, then Kohli can become the Indian batsman to score the most runs and most centuries in Test cricket in the Kangaroos country.
Tendulkar and Kohli have now scored six centuries in the long format of cricket on Australian soil. Tendulkar has 1809 runs in 38 innings of 20 matches in this country name, while Kohli has scored 1274 runs in 23 innings of 12 Tests. Kohli is 535 runs behind Tendulkar in this way.
