The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League is all set to begin in March 2020. Brijesh Patel, IPL Governing Council Chairman announced the official Schedule of IPL 2020. And as told the tournament final will be held in Wankhede Stadium Mumbai on 24th of May 2020.





No change in the timing of the night games which will remain the same (8:00 PM) other than a few major changes in this season.





Major Addition in IPL Season 13





There is some major addition in the 13th season of IPL this year. And may increase the popularity of the tournament all over the world. Starting with:





Concussion Substitute: The introduction of the concussion substitute for the very first time in the upcoming season of IPL as per the rules of ICC. A concussion substitute has to be a like for like replacement and perform the same role as that of the concussed player.

Front-Foot No-Ball: Another addition to this year's IPL is that front-foot no-balls be adjudicated by a separate TV umpire. The introduction of a designated official comes after poor umpiring calls concerning front-foot no-ball in IPL 2019.

Double-Headers Slashed: As opposed to the 12 double-headers last season, there will be only 6 in the upcoming season of the IPL 2020.





Rajasthan Royals New Home: The Rajasthan Royals are likely to play a few of their home games at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati this season.





IPL All-Stars Game: The BCCI president Sourav Ganguly said there will be an IPL All-Stars Game that will take place before IPL season 13. All-Star IPL exhibition match will be played 3 days before the start of the IPL 2020.





Team 1 - North and East of India - Kings XI Punjab, Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Rider.
