Indian cricketer Rajat Bhatia has now decided to give his 20-year-long career a break. On Wednesday, the Delhi all-rounder announced his retirement from all types of cricket. He made his domestic debut against Ranji Tamil Nadu in 1999–2000.

Rajat made his first class debut in 1999–2000 against Tamil Nadu. Two years ago, he decided to leave Delhi and play for Uttarakhand. In the year 2019, he played his last Ranji match. In the 2019-20 season, Rajat had scored a total of 700 runs at an unmatched average of 175, showing off a brilliant game.





Rajat's First Class Career





Rajat, who made a place in the all-rounder team, performed very well in first-class cricket. He scored a total of 6482 runs in 112 matches at an average of 49 with a total of 17 centuries. While bowling in the bowling, Rajat also took a total of 137 wickets. He also had a good record in List A and played 119 matches, scoring 3038 runs and taking 93 wickets.

Rajat's IPL career





In the Indian Premier League, Rajat played for the Delhi Daredevils, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals and Pune Suppliers. With his medium pace bowler and batting in the lower order, he performed well for the team. Rajat played for Delhi in the first three seasons, after which he joined Kolkata where he performed well under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir. He took 13 wickets, contributing significantly to the team's victory in 2012. After playing for KKR for three years, Rajat was included in his team by Rajasthan with a bid of 1.7 crores. In 2014, he took 12 wickets. In 2017, Rajat also collaborated with Pune Supergiants.
