New Delhi Most of the players of the Indian team have still not landed on the ground due to the corona virus epidemic. In such a situation, players of the Indian team need to practice before playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) or any bilateral series. The training of cricketers in a bio-safe environment will begin next month for the first time after the reconstruction of Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera. The world's largest cricket stadium is all set to host the stars of Indian cricket, as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is preparing to host a training camp for the team at the stadium. Motera Stadium has been rebuilt by demolition. A match was played here 5 years ago, but for the first time after it is formed, the players will come to this ground, but in view of the coronavirus epidemic, a bio-safe environment will be created, in which Indian players will practice for three weeks. Sources in the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) said while speaking to the Mirror, "A final decision is yet to be taken regarding the venue, but I can tell you that Motera is going to host the Indian team from August 18 to September 4."

The renovated stadium has been seen as the top choice for training for the Indian team, while both Ahmedabad and Dharamsala have been considered the preferred destinations for the camp. The source said that Motera has benefited due to the huge stadium and state-of-the-art facilities. The source said, "The facilities at the stadium in Motera after its renovation are comparable to the best stadiums in the world. Motera's vastness can give players a bio-safe environment, which has become an important criterion since the epidemic." " However, the BCCI has not yet taken an official decision on this.

The GCA official has claimed that the camp will be organized in Motera itself. "We are expecting a team of 60 people to come here, which will have 26 players (27 contracted players) and 18-member support staff. In addition, the security team, kitchen staff, and other support staff will also come here," the official said. All these people will live in a bio-secure environment.
