The International Cricket Council has decided to postpone the Men's World Cup League 2 and the second Men's World Cup Challenge League B. This decision has been taken because of the worldwide Kovid 19 epidemic. On Wednesday itself, the ICC has decided to take a decision on the future of T20 to be held in Australia next month.
League 2 of the Men's Cricket World Cup League was to be played from 4 to 11 July. Scotland, Nepal and Namibia were to host it together. A total of 6 ODIs were to be played during this tournament. The ICC has taken this difficult decision, given the increasing risk of Corona virus infection.

The men's World Cup Challenge League B matches in Uganda have also been postponed. Second League B matches were to be played between August 3, 13, and 15. Apart from hosts Uganda, teams from Hong Kong, Italy, Jersey, and Kenya were to participate in this tournament.
Chris Tetley, head of the ICC event, stated, "As foreign travel is currently under the ban, the problem of global health remains so far and we have joined with all members on the suggestion by Covid 19 of the Government and Public Health Authority In partnership, we decided to postpone the next two qualifying tournaments. Decision on ICC T20 World Cup postponed
In the previous meeting, the T20 World Cup decision to be held in Australia till 10 by the ICC was deferred. Now it was further extended for a month in the meeting held on Wednesday.
