In a debate on a news channel of Pakistan, Razzaq said, 'We were watching the match, we also felt the same. I also believe that the ICC should impose a fine on it. If a team intentionally loses the match so that the other team does not qualify, then the team should feel fine. When the TV anchor asked Razzaq if you think Team India had deliberately lost the match so that Pakistan could not enter the knock out round of the World Cup, Razzaq agreed, saying, 'This I have no doubt, I said that at the time, every cricketer feels the same, a player who can hit a six or a four is trying to stop the ball, then you know. '

The ICC World Cup 2019 match between India and England was played on 30 June, in which England won the toss and decided to bat first, the English team gave India a target of 338 runs to win. In response, Rohit Sharma had scored a brilliant 102 runs, yet Team India was able to score only 306 runs after losing 5 wickets in 50 overs. England won this match by 31 runs. Had India won this match, Pakistan would have reached the next round of the tournament and England would have been eliminated from the World Cup.
