England release 5 players from bio-safe environment





England has released 5 of their players from a biologically safe environment as they were not selected in the squad for the ongoing third and final Test against the West Indies. Among the five players, batsman Joe Denly will join the white ball group training ahead of the upcoming series against Ireland.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said four other players Dan Lawrence, Craig Overton, Ollie Robinson and Ollie Stone have returned to their counties. Denly, 34, played the first Test of the series, but dropped out of the team after Joe Root returned. The ECB said, "Denali will join the England camp at the Aegis Bowl from Monday before the Royal London One-Day Series.





At the same time, four other players will be available for their county to prepare for the start of the English domestic season. Domestic cricket will begin with the Bob Willis Trophy from August 1. England has to play a series of three one-day matches against Ireland from 30 July.
