The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday told leg-spinner Danish Kaneria that he should appeal to the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) if he wants to start playing at the club or at the domestic level.





Kaneria has been banned since 2012 and wants to start cricketing activities to earn a living. However, the PCB said that it could not do much as they were punished by the ECB.

The PCB said, "Article 6.8 of the ECB Anti-Corruption Code is applicable in this case, which clearly states that the head of the Anti-Corruption Arbitration, which has banned a player. He has the right to allow the player to participate. Therefore you are advised to appeal to the ECB. '





Let us tell you that Danish Kaneria was banned for life by cricket by the England and Welsh Cricket Board for their involvement in match-fixing. He has not been playing any kind of cricket since 2012. They always appeal to the PCB to allow them to play cricket so that they can run their lives. After their repeated appeals, for the first time, the PCB has given its response and advised them to take up the matter with the ECB. However, Danish has always said that he expresses his heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to play for Pakistan.

Danish Kaneria has also accused Shahid Afridi earlier. Danish had said that Shahid Afridi has always discriminated against him. He used to do the same not only at the international level but also at the domestic level. He said that he could play more ODIs for his country, but Afridi did not give him a chance in the last eleven despite being in the team. However, Danish did quite well for Pakistan in Test cricket.
