The International Cricket Council i.e. the ICC has taken a major decision because of the Coronavirus epidemic. In order to make up for the losses suffered by the ICC member countries due to COVID19, the apex body of cricket has said that now teams can use the front of shirt sponsors in Test cricket as well. This means that a big logo can also be put on the white jersey of Test cricket.

For the next 12 months, teams can increase their income by using a maximum of 32 square inches logo on a Test cricket shirt and jersey.

Till now only ICC allowed putting such a big logo on the T-shirts of One Day and T20. Although three logos can still be worn on jerseys worn in Test cricket, these logos are quite small, mounted on both arms and one chest.

This decision of the ICC is a means of boosting the earnings of the Cricket Board because the cricket playing nations have suffered a lot due to the COVID 19 epidemic.

According to the UK newspaper Daily Mail, the England team can donate the proceeds of this new sponsorship to the country's COVID 19 Health Service Fund. The England team has to participate in the first series after the Coronavirus, which is to be against the West Indies.

The first series after COVID 19 is to be played between England and the West Indies on the English soil, which is to begin on 8 July. In this series, a big logo will be allowed on the white T-shirt.

The ICC's Chief Executive Committee, ie CEC, has announced the relaxation of sponsorship rules on Tuesday 9 June. In this meeting, many more rules have also been made regarding the epidemic.
