New Delhi Indian team players have not practiced for a long time due to the spread of Coronavirus infection. The government may have relieved the lockdown and some players may have started training outside but the contracted players of the Indian cricket team are not allowed and are waiting for the BCCI's decision to train on the field.





A contracted player of the team said that the players want to train outside, but they will do so only when they get the approval from the BCCI. Right now players are working according to the fitness routine suggested by Nick Webb and physio Nitin Patel.

Practice relaxation was granted in lockdown 4





Players were allowed to practice following the instructions issued by the government in areas where there is less danger of the corona virus, which is not included in the hot spot. Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has also started training with his coach but he is doing it alone.





Shardul Thakur's practice banned





Mumbai fast bowler Shardul Thakur came out to practice after the relaxation given to the players in Lockdown 4 but had to return. Shardul wanted to practice in the Palghar district of Mumbai but had to return home due to being declared a Red Zone. He did not get permission from the Board of Control for Cricket in India before the practice, due to which the board was very angry.

India will not play any series till August





The Indian team has not been on the field since returning from a tour of New Zealand in March. On Thursday, the BCCI decided to postponed the Sri Lankan tour and postpone the visit to Zimbabwe a day later. India was scheduled to visit Sri Lanka in July and Zimbabwe in August.
