45th Match of VIVO IPL Season 12,  RR vs SRH in Jaipur

 The 45th Match of VIVO IPL Season 12,  RR vs SRH was played on Sat 27th April 2019 in Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Rajasthan won the toss and elected to bowl first.

 David Warner along with Kane Williamson came to open the inning as Bairstow was called up to join the national team along with Ben Stokes. SRH lost the wicket of Williamson in the 4th over of the match who scored 13 runs (2 fours) of 14 balls. Then a partnership between Warner and Manish Pandey took the score to 51 runs in the powerplay. Manish Pandey back in form at the right time for SRH and started playing shots from the very first bowl where David Warner played the anchor role but couldn't score more than 37 runs of 32 balls without any boundary and also failed to score 6 consecutive fifties in Vivo IPL Season 12. Manish Pandey got his back to back fifties in the season where he scored 61 runs (9 fours) of 36 balls and was departed in the 15th over by Shreyas Gopal. With the wicket of Manish Pandey SRH started losing wickets in every over of the inning as a result of which Hyderabad could score 160-8 in 20 overs with help of Rashid Khan who scored 17 runs of 8 balls by scoring 10 runs in last 2 balls.

Every bowler bowled brilliantly where Varun Aaron, Unadkat, Shreyas Gopal, Ushane Thomas picked 2 wickets each which restricted SRH on 160 runs.

 Ajinkya Rahane started the chase with his new partner Liam Livingston who was playing his first match in the season as an opener and gave a good start to the team by scoring 60 runs in the powerplay without losing a wicket. Rashid Khan gave the breakthrough by departing Livingston on 44 runs  (4 fours, 3 sixes) of 26 balls. And in the 12th over Sakib picked the wicket of Rahane who scored 39 runs (4 fours, 1 six) of 34 balls. And the partnership of 55 runs between Sanju Samson and Steven Smith took the score close to the target where Smith scored 22 runs (3 fours) of 16 balls and was departed by Khaleel Ahmed and finally Turner got his run in the season but Sanju Samson batted till the end and helped the team to win the match by 7 wickets with his 48 runs (3 fours, 1 six) of 32 balls and Rajasthan scored 161-3 in 19.2 overs.

Jaydev Unadkat got the Player of the Match award for his brilliant bowling and fielding effort as he took 4 catches in 45th Match of VIVO IPL Season 12,  RR vs SRH in Jaipur.
