Worldwide coronavirus infection affected world cricket and international cricket was banned for about four months. Now cricket has returned from the series being played between England and West Indies. Cricket may have returned to England, but the wait for the Indian player to land on the ground may increase further. The BCCI may postpone the India tour of England to be held in September-October this year.

According to a report, India's first home series of the 2020-21 season was to be held against England in September-October in which three ODIs and three T20 matches were to be played, but now it may have to be postponed. India has already had two more cancellations before this. The BCCI decided to postpone the series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.





A BCCI official said, 'Yes, England's visit to India without any doubt will have to be postponed. There is no option to hold this series under these circumstances. We will organize it later.





This means that the Indian team will not be seen playing any series in their home before 2021. However, the BCCI may make an official announcement about this series on June 17, where the schedule of this series will be discussed in the meeting of the apex council.

Although the BCCI has not been talked to the England and Wales Cricket Board regarding this series yet, but it is expected that the series will be held in January-February. However, already England has to come to India for the five-match Test series in January next year and the ODI and T20 series can also be done simultaneously.
